Jeannie B. Hinton

Jeannie B. Hinton, 89, of Southington, died Friday, March 15, 2002 at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Theodore W. Hinton, who died in 1980. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Westwood Pattison. She was a former New Britain and Plainville resident before moving to Southington. She was formerly employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at New Britain General Hospital for 17 years before retiring and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son and daughter in law, George and Marie Hinton of Southington, two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary L. Hinton of Plainville, and Jeannie and Francis Valenti of Plainville; a sister-in-law, Ann Pattison of Newington; four grandchildren, Kim Hinton, Brian Hinton, Kristina Valenti and Theodore Valenti; two great grandchildren, Alaura Hinton and Derek Hinton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18, 2002 at 11:00 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 538 Preston Ave. Meriden, CT 06450-1004
