Jeannette Talbot

Jeannette M. LaBrie Talbot, 81, of Berlin, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2004 after a short illness. Born in Frenchville, ME, she was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. William LaBrie. Jeannette was a Berlin resident most of her life and was formerly employed at Aero Tools, retiring in 1989. She was a member of St. Paul's Church. Mrs. Talbot is survived by her husband of 60 years, Joseph Talbot and her son, Robert, with whom she made her home. She also leaves behind her bird Angel who she adored. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Dawn Talbot Matthews of New Britain, Robert Talbot and his wife Melanie of Torrington, Debbie DeAngelis of Terryville, Charlene Cormier of New Britain, and Marcia Edwards of Long Island, NY; a son-in-law, Keith Matthews of New Britain; a sister, Gillie Parlon and a sister-in-law, Marion LaBrie, both of Waterville ME; six great-grandchildren, Keith Jr., Trevor, and Jessy Matthews, Rebecca, Joshua and Gary Talbot; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Richard Talbot. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Paul's Church. Burial will be in West Lane Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Cardiac Step Down Unit at UCONN Health Center, 263 Farmington Ave., Farmington, CT.
