Jeanne Meyer

Jeanne Meyer, 95, of New Britain, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 23, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.  She was the widow of Walter E. Meyer.

Born in Biddeford, ME, she was the daughter of the late Aime and Emma (Simard) Fournier.  Jeanne was a New Britain resident most of her life and was formerly employed at Emhart and Peter Paul Electronics before retiring.

Jeanne was predeceased by a daughter, Suzanne Meyer.  She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Lagasse and Sueann Meyer; seven grandchildren, Gene Lagasse, Keith Lagasse, Kevin Lagasse, Trisha Cichy, Jesse Betances, Roxanne Betances, and Shianne Ramos; many great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain.  Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.  A calling hour will be held on Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service.
