Jean Marie Fischel Ellison, of Kensington, died peacefully on Saturday. She was the widow of, the love of her life, Everett E. Ellison. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Florine Albrecht Fischel. Jean was a devoted member of St. Paul Church in Kensington where she sang in the choir for many years. She was employed by St. John the Evangelist Church, New Britain for 25 years. Since her retirement her greatest joy has been spending time with her sisters, making crafts, which they lovingly called "Trunk Treasures." We all love and miss you Mom, but we find peace knowing that you are safely in the hands of God. We would like to thank Dr. Hoffman and his staff, as well as the E1 and C5 staff for all of the wonderful care and love they gave to our mother at the Hospital of Central CT at New Britain General. She is survived by her three daughters, Brenda Ellison of Kensington, Lauren Ellison of New Britain and Linda Ellison of Bristol, her wonderful mother-in-law, Mrs. Elsie Ellison of New Britain, three sisters whom she loved very much, Shirley Phelps of Farmington, Barbara Huck of New Britain, and Linda Hill of Plainville, her cherished nieces and nephews, her many dear friends and her "grandchildren," Ruby, Gus, and Sadie.
