Janice Lee Reale

Janice Lee Reale, 81, of Berlin, passed away at her home on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Born in Berlin, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Florence (Vumback) Masselle.  Janice was a long time Berlin resident and was formerly employed at Precision Graphics in East Berlin.  She was a member of St. Paul Church and enjoyed dancing and attending events at the Goodspeed Opera House.  Janice was a loving mother who always put her children and others before herself.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph Reale Jr. of East Haddam and Jeffrey Reale of Berlin; a brother, Franklin Masselle; and three grandchildren, Jesse, Seth and Joe III.  She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Masselle.
