Janet Marjorie Jeknavorian

Janet M. Jeknavorian, 66, of Kensington, wife of Thomas S. Jeknavorian, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Marjorie (Zehner) Stevens. She was a life-long Kensington resident and was a member of the Christian Science Church in Boston, MA. Janet graduated from Berlin High School and attended Keene State College. She was formerly employed at Aetna Insurance Company and was an Avon Representative for many years. Janet enjoyed spending the winters in Florida with her husband Tom. In addition to her husband Thomas, she is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Jeknavorian-Wadinger of Kensington and Sandra Jeknavorian-Langlais of Norwich; and their husbands Walter Wadinger and Sean Langlais respectively; and four grandchildren, Thomas, Gregory, Kenneth, and Charles. Funeral Services will be held privately. Burial will be in South Burying Ground in Kensington. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
