Jacqueline Yvette Chamberland

Jacqueline Yvette Chamberland, 70, of New Britain, joined her heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with a short illness. She was the widow of Abel Chamberland. Born in St. Agatha, ME, she was the daughter of the late Euclide and Edwina Derosier Albert. Jacqueline was a New Britain resident most of her life and was a graduate of New Britain High School. She worked in Quality Assurance for Johnson and Johnson, retiring in 1997. Jacqueline was member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Chamberland Baruffi and her husband Dean of Kensington; her son, Roger Chamberland and his wife Barbara of Southington. She was memere to her grandchildren, Nicholas and Jenna Baruffi, and Katelin and Nathan Chamberland. Also surviving are her loving Mom, Jeanne Albert of Southington; her sister, Florine Corriveau and her dear partner Ernie of Plainville; her sister, Doris Chasse and her husband Richard of Southington; her brothers, Donald Albert of New Britain, Michael Albert and his wife Ginger of Pownal, ME and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 9:00 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Entombment will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
