Israel Gonzalez

Israel Gonzalez, 67, of New Britain, passed away at home on December 12, 2020.

Born on June 17, 1953 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Israel later moved to CT where he joined the US Army to serve his country.  Israel loved to go fishing and hang out with his family.  He considered his greatest accomplishment to be a grandfather to his grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

He is survived by his two sons, Israel Gonzalez and Michael Gonzalez, Jr and two beautiful grandchildren, Isabella and Michael Gonzalez, Jr.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, New Britain is handling arrangements.
