Isolene Pansy Campbell, 78, of 58 Greenfield Avenue, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Access Care, in home Hospice care, where she was taken care of by her caregivers Derrick Donovan Campbell and Juliet Campbell-Taylor, after a long illness. She was born May 8, 1947, to the late Clifton Barnes and Eulalee Senior of the Parish Westmoreland in the Country of Jamaica. She then immigrated to the United States in 2002, to Waterbury, Connecticut, where she lived for 20 years before she passed on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Mrs. Campbell has always been active in the Apostolic Church for over twenty years in Jamaica, in the kitchen ministry, in the choir, an active missionary, who faithfully went out visiting and praying for the sick, as a Sunday School teacher to the teenage/young people department, and also as a licensed minister. She then continued another 20 years, actively working in the kitchen ministry (for a short period), as a missionary visiting, encouraging and praying for the sick, and as a minister, ministering the Word in her own way, in the State of Connecticut.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Derrick Donovan Campbell; two sons, Aubrey Anthony Campbell of Georgia, Derrick Junior Campbell of Florida; three daughters, Marlene Walker of Mondeville, Jamaica, MaryAnn Tenant of Ontario, Canada, and Juliet Taylor of Waterbury, Connecticut; a daughter-in-law Sonia Campbell, and two sons-in-law; Robert Walker and Howard Tenant; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, one sister, nieces, nephews and other in-laws.
The ceremony of celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the Greater Grace Apostolic Church (860) 583-8659, under the leadership of Bishop Fredrick Jackson, 23 Church Street, Terryville, CT.
