Isaiah Ethan Sanchez

Isaiah Ethan Sanchez, of New Britain, 9 year old son of Yashira (Acuna) Sanchez and Jose Sanchez, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 at the CT Children's Medical Center. Born in New Britain, he lived in New Britain and was a former resident of Bristol. He was a fourth grade student at Lincoln School in New Britain. Isaiah enjoyed music, the guitar, and dancing. He was a Boston Red Sox fan, a good soccer player, and loved to travel, making many trips to Ecuador and Puerto Rico. Surviving are his parents, Yashira (Acuna) Sanchez and Jose Sanchez; a sister, MariaJose Sanchez; a brother, Matthew Sanchez; grandparents, Aida Colon, Hector Colon, and Carmen Loja; his "best friend, brother, and compadre", Dante Prado; many aunts and uncles including Jean Carlos Acuna, Denise Ortiz, Aida Rodriguez and Maribel Acuna; many cousins including Cristian and Catherine; and many friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Jose Sebastian. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Pentecostals, 517 Farmington Ave., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 6-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. New Britain.
