Iris V. Amaez

Iris V. Amaez, 65, formerly of New Britain, died Thursday, May 24, 2007 in Littleton, Colorado. She was the widow of Angel L. Amaez who on died May 24, 1999. Born in Ricon, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Jesus Ruiz Quintana and Maria Sanchez Perrea. She was resident of New Britain for 30 years and was a member of St. Mary Church. Surviving are her daughter, Dolly Beaudoin and her husband Yvan of Colorado; a son Julio Amaez and his wife Dalybel of New Britain; five sisters, Ana Jimenez, Inez Mateo, Nilda Ruiz, Olga Garcia and Auria Irrizarry; two brothers, Jesus Ruiz and Abraham Ruiz; seven grandchildren, Craig Beaudoin, Victoria Beaudoin, Parker Beadoin, Julio Angel Amaez, Jerell Amaez, Jadon Amaez, and Jaylin Amaez; and her former daughter-in-law, Tracy Sosa of Rockville, Ct. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 7-9 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
