Ines Ruiz

Inez Ruiz, 68, of New Britain, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013. Born in Puerto Rico, she was a New Britain resident since 1992 and was formerly employed as a teacher's aide in Brooklyn, NY. Surviving are five children, Benvienido Cataquet Jr., Catherine Cataquet-Lopez, Ana Cataquet, Kay Cataquet, and Jim Cataquet; seventeen grandchildren, Marie, Michael, Cristina, Allison, Alexis, Maurice, Dawaun,, Charlene, Magdelena, Luis, Corrina, Eric, Isabella, Julian, Gabriel, and Jashira; and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services and calling hours will be held on Friday from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
