Horatio Rodriguez

Horatio Rodriguez Jr., 57, of Cromwell, passed away Monday, Dec. 7, 2015 at Masonicare, in Wallingford.

Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of Rosa Martinez of Lake Wells, FL and the late Horatio Rodriguez. He was a former New Britain resident before moving to Cromwell 30 years ago. He was formerly employed at Unicco as a high rise window cleaner and was a Union Steward at Local SEIU32BJ.

Surviving are his wife, Gladys (Montalban) Rodriguez; his mother and step-father, Rosa and Wilfredo Martinez; his son, Horatio Jesse Rodriguez; a brother, Efrain Cruz, and a sister, Iris Rodriguez. Also surviving are his nephews, Efrain and Giovanni; his aunts Loyda and Rachel; and his SDA church family along with many other friends and relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Maple Cemetery, Berlin. Calling hours are Thursday morning from 10 AM until the time of the service.
