Hilda J. ''Sally'' Bennett

Hilda J. ''Sally'' Brooker Bennett, 90, of Chino Hills, CA, died in Carson, California on Thursday . She preferred to be called Sally. Born in Maine, she was a former New Britain resident before moving to California in 2000. She was previously married to Joseph Cassile and later to David Bennett. Sally worked at an insurance co. in Hartford as well as a buyer and sales clerk for Michael's Jewelers in New Britain. She loved jewelry, clothes, and dogs. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Cassile and Catherine Fischl of Chino Hills, CA, her granddaughter Cathy Lagunes of Chino Hills, CA, her great grandson Christian and Sally's loving companion Jack Angaran of Lomita, CA. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ann's Church at 11:00 am. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
