Hilda M. Rosado

Hilda M. Rosado, 63, of New Britain, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.  She was the widow of Francisco Rosado.

Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Victor Colon and Carmen Melendez.  Hilda was a New Britain resident for over 30 years and was formerly employed at Corbin Russwin.  She was a member of St. Mary Church.

Surviving are three sons, Javier Rosado and his wife Betsy, Frank Rosado and his wife Amarilia, Ricardo Rosado and his wife Hiramis;  her brothers and sisters, Eulogia Colon, Victor Colon, Manuel Colon, Ana Colon, Neilda Colon, and Juan Colon; six grandchildren, Veronica, Kaleb, Thalia, Thaina, Thaisha and Alysia; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Mary Church.  Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.  Calling hours are Friday from 5-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
