Herminio Hernandez

Herminio Hernandez, 50, of Newington, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 11, 2019 at home.  Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Emilio Hernandez Lauriano and Cecilia Rios.  Herminio was a lifelong New Britain resident before moving to Newington one year ago.

Surviving are two brothers and a sister, Emilio Hernandez Jr. and his wife Rachel, Cecilia Hernandez, and Armando Ortiz and his wife Tina; his niece and nephew, Amaya Cecilia Ortiz and Aiden Rios Ortiz; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday from 11 AM to 12 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Calling hours are Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
