Herminia Ortiz

Herminia Ortiz, 86, of New Britain, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015 at the Hospital of Central CT. Born in Maunabo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Salavdor and Dominga Ortiz. She was a New Britain resident for the past 26 years. Surviving are three sons, Jose Colon, David Ortiz, and Orlando LeBron; four daughters, Ramona Colon, Esther Colon, Evelyn Lebron, Wanda Sanchez and her husband Anibal; twenty-two grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday from 5 PM to 8:30 PM at Iglesia Betel, 20 Dix Ave., New Britain. Burial will take place in Maunabo, Puerto Rico.
