Henry J. Nowik, Jr.

Henry Joseph Nowik Jr., 67, of Newington, husband of Christine Nowik, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021 after a brief illness.

Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Henry Joseph Nowik and Katherine (Smith) Nowik.  Henry was a New Britain resident before moving to Newington nineteen years ago.  He was employed in HVAC and refrigeration and was the owner of Henry J. Nowik Co.

Surviving are his wife, Christine (Straughn) Nowik; two sons, Henry Joseph Nowik III and Michael Henry Nowik; three sisters, Christine Williams, Karen Reney, and Kathy Morrell; and two grandchildren, Henry Joseph Nowik IV and McKinley Noel Nowik.

Calling hours will be held on Monday Oct. 25, 2021 from 5-7 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.  Burial will be held privately in St. Mary Cemetery.
