Henrietta Berberian

Henrietta Berberian, 87, of Plainville, passed away on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015 at Bristol Hospital. She was the widow of Harry Berberian who died in 1986. Born in Syria, Henrietta was the daughter of the late Harry Yirigkian and Nazle (Guzelian) Yirigkian. She was a former New Britain resident and a Plainville resident for 28 years. Henrietta was formerly employed at Kensington Fashion before retiring. She was a member of the Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection, the Ladies Guild at Church where she received her 30 and 40 year certificates, and the seniors group at church. Surviving are two sons, Harry Berberian of Forida and Leon Berberian of Plainville; and three grandchildren, Jen Berberian, Kala Berberian, and Micheelle Berberian. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, John Berberian; two brothers, Jack Erikian and Sarkis Yirigian; and by a granddaughter, Sarah Berberian. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
