Hector Luis Rodriguez

Hector Rodriguez, 58, of New Britain, husband of Maritza Vega Rodriguez, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2003 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Cidra, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Carmelo and Juana Rodriguez. He was a New Britain resident since 1965. He was formerly employed at Corbin Russwin and was a member of St. Mary Church. In addition to his wife Maritza, he is survived by four sons, Hector Rodriguez Jr., Walter Rodriguez, Hector Rodriguez III, and Freddy Vasquez, all of New Britain; a daughter, Elsa Rodriguez of New Britain; seven brothers, Carmelo Rodriguez and Raul Rodriguez of Shelton, Higinio Rodriguez and Miguel Rodriguez of Puerto Rico, Victor Rodriguez of Bridgeport, Jose and Hipolito Rodriguez of Waterbury; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 Am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 7-9 PM.
