Hazel Francis Mallookis

Hazel Francis Mallookis, 79, of Farmington, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023 at Civita Care Center in Newington.  She was the widow of George Mallookis.

Born in Simsbury, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice (Messanger) Winot.  Hazel was a New Britain resident before moving to Farmington 13 years ago.  She was formerly employed at Loctite Corporation.  Hazel enjoyed bingo, knitting, and bird watching.

Surviving are two daughters, Joanne DelValle and her husband Freddy, Penny Nosek and her husband Craig Drenzek; a son, Walter Nosek; a brother, Ronnie Winot and his wife Bonnie; four grandchildren, Terry Ouellette, Cathy Grier, Jessica Coyle, and Taylor Drenzek; and five great-grandchildren, Leanna, Alex, Makenzye, Ivan and Zeryk.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5-7 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.  Private burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
