Gregory Nelson Morales

Gregory Nelson Morales, 45, of New Britain, beloved husband of Margaret Joy (Paventi) Morales, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012 at Hartford Hospital. Born in New Britain, he was a New Britain resident most of his life and employed as a Register Nurse, most recently at Hartford Hospital. He was a member of St. Mary Church. Gregory was a loving husband, son, father, brother and friend who will be dearly missed. Surviving are his beloved wife Margaret Joy (Paventi) Morales; his children, Gregory Morales Jr., Jeremy Morales, Amanda Morales, and Melinda Morales; a granddaughter, Mariyah Cartie; his father and step mother, Cresencio Morales and Rosie Morales; two sisters and a brother, Maryann Martinez, Nancy Olson, and Richard Morales; two special friends, Josh and Derek; and a host of cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Anna Cooper, and by a brother, Peter Morales. Funeral services and calling hours will be held on Friday from 7-9 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
