Georgeanna Distin

Georgeanna Distin, 39, of Sterling St., New Britain, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 15, 2002 at home. Born in Hartford, she was a former Berlin resident, and a graduate of Berlin High School. Surviving are two daughters, April Distin and Chelsey Mangiafico, both of New Britain; her mother, Bertha Distin Mangiafico of New Britain; her father, Robert Mangiafico of Florida; Her fiancee, John Soaft of New Britain; an uncle, Robert Bittner of Berlin; and many cousins. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain. Funeral services will be private.
