George Cromer

George A. Cromer, 90, of New Britain, husband of Dorothy (Mancini) Cromer, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Hospital of Central CT. Born in New Haven, he was a New Britain resident since 1951 and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater. He was formerly employed at Stanley Works and attended St. Ann Church. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Dorothy (Mancini) Cromer; four children and their spouses, George and Linda Cromer, John and Suzanne Cromer, Kathleen and John Folcik, and William Cromer; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
