Genevieve B. Victor

Genevieve B. Victor, 104, of New Britain, widow of Alec Victor, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 29, 2017 at Monsignor Bojnowski Manor.

Born in Edwardsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Frances (Kuzma) Moyer.  Genevieve was a former Pennsylvania resident before moving to New Britain in 1941.  She was a devoted member of St. Joseph Church, where she served as a volunteer and sang in the Choir.  Genevieve also was a volunteer at New Britain General Hospital for many years and sang with RSVP.

Surviving are two daughters, Genevieve “Jenny” Pare and her husband Len of Enfield; Connie Michel and her husband Robert of Newington; a son, Alan Victor and his wife Diane of Las Vegas, NV;  nine grandchildren, Dr. Joseph Mitchel, Cathy Fellows (Jim), Thomas Pare (Linda), Matthew Pare (Linda), Michelle Roper (Thomas), Susan Walsh (Neil), Andrea Hardy (Dan), Aaron Victor (Jessica), and Nichole Bay (Christopher); sixteen great grandchildren, Karen, Sarah, Sean, Dora, Jonathan, David, Jenna, Tanner, Colleen, Timothy, Allyson, Nathaniel, Abigail, Christopher, Ian, and Amelie; and one great great-grandchild, Adain.  Genevieve was predeceased by a daughter, Fran LaRochelle, two grandchildren, Amanda and Seth , and by her six sisters.
