Gary A. Drachenberg

Gary Drachenberg, 54, of New Britain, died October 6th, 2015. The son of the late Arthur Drachenberg and Vivian (Warner) Drachenberg, of New Britain. He was born June 21st, 1961, in New Britain. He graduated from E.C. Goodwin Technical High School in 1979, attended Central Connecticut State College, and graduated from Connecticut School of Broadcasting in 1987. He worked at Gallagher Buick for over 20 years. He was a community volunteer DJ at WFCS New Britain and volunteered at Hole in the Wall and New Britain Youth Theaters. Besides his mother, he is survived by his partner of 26 years, Elizabeth (Beth) Lancia of New Britain; his daughter, Krysten Drachenberg; his brother, Randy Drachenberg; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; and many other family members. Services are Tuesday, October 13th, 2015 at 10 am at Erickson Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main Street New Britain. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations, care of the funeral home.
