Frieda G. Anderson

Frieda G. Windish Anderson, 91, of New Britain, died Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Walnut Hill Care Center. She was the widow of Bertil Anderson. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late William and Franceska Cznar Windish. Frieda worked for many years at Electro Mechanics and was a member of Bethany Covenant Church. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Bertil W. and Sally Anderson of New Britain and Port Richey, FL, a daughter Carol Hansen of New Britain, two brothers, George Windish of New Britain and Frank Windish of Newington, a sister Eleanor Berloni of Old Lyme, twelve grandchildren, Mark, Scot, and Bryan Anderson, Lori-Ann Hewett, Mare Ciznar, Debra Eshoo, Evelyn Hudyma, Geraldine Bernacki, Rhona, Paula, Jonathan and Adam Hansen, nineteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A daughter, Phyllis Bouchard, two brothers, William and Fred Windish and a son-in-law Ronald Hansen predeceased her. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
