Frank S. Skorupski, 55, of Kensington, died peacefully at home on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005 surrounded by his loving familyl. He was the husband of Kim Pastore Skorupski. Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Zigmund and Helen Kulak Skorupski. He was a Kensington resident for the past 16 years. Frank was employed as a letter carrier with the US Postal Service in Bristol. He was a US Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of St. Ann's Church in New Britain and the Marine Corp League. Frank was an avid baseball and football fan. In addition to his wife Kim, he is survived by a daughter, Jaclyn Skorupski and a son, Joshua Skorupski, both of Kensington; a sister, Nancy Lutty and her husband Daniel of New Britain; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David and Denise Pastore of New Britain, Karen and Frank Fongemie of New Britain, Joseph and Robin Pastore of Newington; and many dearly loved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He also leaves his beloved pet Chico. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St. New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Ann's Church. Burial, with military honors, will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday evening from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
