Frank L. Lentini, Jr.

Frank L. Lentini Jr., 67, of New Britain, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at a local convalescent home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous four year battle with cancer.

Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Frank Lentini Sr. and Yvonne (Doty) Lentini.  Frank was a lifelong New Britain resident and was formerly employed at Fafnir Bearing Co. and Stop and Shop in Berlin.  He also worked part time at the Spartans Club and at the American Legion.  He was a member of St. Joseph Church.  He was a member of the Sons of Legionnaires and a life member of the Quartette Club.  Frank was an avid country music fan.

Surviving are a son, Ronald Lentini and his wife Amanda Aulenti ; a grandson, Aaron Lentini, a sister, Sandra Lockery; his best friend, Bob Gonyea; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Church.  Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.  Calling hours are Monday from 6-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family, c/o Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
