Francisco Rosado

Francisco Rosado, also known as "Father Broker" , 62, of New Britain, husband of Hilda Rosado, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Puerto Rico, he was a New Britain resident since 1969 and was formerly employed at Corbin Russwin. He was devoted member of St. Mary Church, St. Vincent DePaul, and the Chorus Choir at church. Surviving are his beloved wife, Hilda (Colon) Rosado; three sons and their spouses, Frank and Amarilia Rosado, Javier and Betsy Rosado, and Ricardo and Hiramis Rosado; his brothers and sisters, Jose Emilio Rosado, Angela Rivera, Milagros Herrera, Migdalia Muniz, Antonio Rosado, Nancy Vargas, Mario Robles, Angel Robles, Auria Perez and Minerva Perez; his grandchildren, VJ, Alysia M. Rosado, Thalia M. Rosado, Thaina M. Rosado, Thaisha M. Rosado, and Veronica M. Rosado; and many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Jose Rosado and Maria Escobales, and by his grandson, Joshua Rosado. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Mary Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 6-9 PM.
