Frances Cochran, 83, of Bristol and formerly of New Britain, entered into eternal life on Oct. 21, 2013. Born in Caribou, Maine, she was the wife of the late Robert Cochran, and was the daughter of the late Carrie Ouellette. Frances was formerly employed at Emhart, now Black and Decker, for many years. She was well loved and cherished by her family and friends, and will be deeply missed. Frances was predeceased by a daughter, Pamela Cochran. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Cochran, Velma Bell, Debra Singleton and her husband Danny Singleton, Mary Eschner and her husband Bruce Eschner, Caroline Roberts and her husband Jimmy Roberts. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Her family would like to thank all the staff at Village Green of Bristol and Masonicare Partners Home Health & Hospice for the outstanding care given to Frances during her final days. They would like to especially thank the administrator, Ed Baker, and DNS, Winsome Husulak, for their sincere compassion, guidance, and understanding during this very difficult time. May God keep her and watch over her for eternity. We love you very much, mom, and may God bless you. You are now our angel. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12 pm at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. A calling hour will be held at the funeral home from 11 am until the time of the service.
