Felix Cales

Felix Cales, 73, of New Britain, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019 at Hartford Hospital.  Born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Nicolas Cales and Guarina Pacheco.  Felix was a New Britain resident for the past 49 years and was formerly employed at Stanley Works.

Surviving are his wife, Amelia Cales; his children Randy Felix Cales and Rebecca Cales, both of New Britain; two brothers and a sister, Waldermar Cales of Florida, Cheo Pacheco and Miriam Cales, both of Puerto Rico; his grandchildren, Alexis Cales, Anthony Cales, Sincere Jimenez, Ava Cales, and Kevin Wiktorek; a great-grandson, Hayden Dawkins; and a great-grandson still to be born, Silas Totty.  He was predeceased by a son, Kevin Cales.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 AM at the Divine Providence Parish, St. Joseph Church.  Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.  Calling hours are Tuesday morning from 9 AM to 10:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.
