Felipe Morales

Felipe Morales, 79, of New Britain, loving husband of Judith Morales, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at UCONN Health Center in Farmington.

Born in Lajas, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Felipe and Pilar Morales.  Felipe was a New Britain resident since 1965 and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.  He was formerly employed as a construction worker and at Emhart Industries.  Most recently he was employed at the Salvation Army.  Felipe was a avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates fan.

Surviving are his wife, Judith (Torres) Morales; three children and their spouses, Evelyn and Axel Gonzalez, Livia and Stephen Arasimowicz, Alex and Victoria Morales, all of New Britain; nine grandchildren, Genevieve, Jennifer, Axel, Jessica, Michael, Tyler, Scotty, Chase, and Juje;  three great-grandchildren, Lucas, Alannah, and Sabi; three brothers; and four sisters.  Felipe was loved by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and friends.
