Felipe N. Collazo

Felipe N. Collazo, 75, of New Britain, passed away at home on Saturday, September 28, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Jose D. Collazo and Crisanta Casiano. He was a New Britain resident for over 40 years. Surviving are his beloved wife, Mercedes (Madera) Collazo; five children, Fernando Madera, Gilberto Madera, Alexis Madera, Felipe Collazo Jr., and Aracelis Collazo; many grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; many brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday from 10-11 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Calling hours are Monday from 7-9 PM.
