Felicita Cotto

Felicita Cotto, 84, of Bristol, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was the widow of Jesus Cotto.

Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Cristobal Ortiz and Pefecta Espada Ortiz.  Felicita was a New Britain resident most of her life and was a Baptized Christian.  She was unwavering in her support of St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Surviving are her daughter, Alicia Ortiz of Bristol; her grandchildren, Richard Sanchez Sr. and Daniel Sanchez; her great-grandchildren, Richard Sanchez Jr., Desire Sanchez, Ramiro A. Sanchez, and Jeter Sanchez; and many brothers and sisters in Connecticut and Coamo Puerto Rico.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Norma Rosado Ortiz.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and Wednesday from 10 AM to 11 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain.  Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
