OBITUARY: Evelyn Santana Evelyn Santana, 50, of New Britain, died Thursday, April 24, 2003 at Hartford Hospital. Born on April 27, 1952 in Puerto Rico, she was a New Britain resident for the past 23 years. She was formerly employed at the Marriott in Farmington and attended St. Mary Church. She is survived by three daughters, Waleska Martinez, Xiomara Martinez and Jarixa Martinez all of New Britain; a son, Julio J. Martinez of New Britain; her father, Gregorio Santana; her God-daughter, Veronica Mendez, 6 sisters and 2 brothers; four grandchildren; and many cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 8:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM at St. Mary Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 7-9 PM.
