Evelyn Marion Olander

Evelyn M. Olander, 93, of Cromwell, widow of Paul Olander, died Thursday, May 29, 2003 at Middlesex Hospital. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Olaf and Selma Johnson Nelson. She was a former Kensington and Middletown resident before moving to Cromwell. Evelyn was a long-time member of the Bethany Covenant Church. Surviving are a daughter, Sis Olander of Middletown; five grandchildren, Clifford Olander, Christine Jasse, Lynette Lockhart, Craig Olander, and Linda Raye Olander; ten great-grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Marilee Olander of West Topsham, VT. She was predeceased by two sons, Raymond Olander and Clifford Olander Memorial services will be held Friday, June 6, 2003 at 10:30 AM at Bethany Covenant Church, in Berlin and also at 2:00 PM at the Pilgrim Manor Chapel in Cromwell. Burial will be in South Burying Ground, Kensington. Calling hours are Monday from 5-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund at Bethany Covenant Church, 785 Mill St., Berlin, CT 06037 or to Middlesex Hospice, Cresent St., Middletown, CT 06457.
