Ernest R. Vieira

Ernest (Ernie) R. Vieira, 79, widower of Karin (Paulson) Vieira, died on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Andrew House Healthcare in New Britain. Born in Boston, Ernie lived in the Boston area before moving to New Britain over 40 years ago. Prior to retiring, he was a mechanic for the National Guard. A faithful Christian, Ernie volunteered at the Christian Life Church in many capacities most notably as a deacon and as a leader in the Royal Rangers. He is survived by son Steven Ernest; granddaughter Melissa Rose; great-granddaughter Alexandra Rose Molina; sister-in-law Barbara (Paulson) Danielson and her husband David of Columbus, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and extended family members Sue and Frank Elshire. He was predeceased by a daughter, Robin V. Worthington. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4th at 11 AM at Christian Life Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
