Erico Marinelli

Erico Marinelli, 50, of New Britain, died Friday, May 9, 2003 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Italy, he was the son of the late Vittorio and Antoniella Persico Marinelli. He was a New Britain resident most of his life and was a US Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was formerly employed as a welder at Capital Pipe and was a member of St. Anns Church. Surviving are his wife, Suzanne Rose Marinelli of East Hampton; a daughter, Dawn Marinelli of East Hampton; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Anthony and Patricia Marinelli and Nicholas Marinelli, all of New Britain; a sister, Silvana Marinelli of Kensington and her fiancee, Robert Deiwert; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM at St. Anns Church. Entombment, with full military honors, will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 5-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
