Eric Jose Figueroa was born on May 27, 1994, in Hartford, Ct. He was 26 years old. He is survived by his mother, Antonia Gomez, and his father, Jose Figueroa. He leaves behind four sisters and 4 brothers, Edgardo Ocasio, Antonia Ocasio, Angelita Santiago, Jesus Ocasio, Jose Luis Figueroa, Abigail Figueroa, Joshua Figueroa and Gloria Caraballo. He was the youngest of the brothers. Eric also leaves behind so many extended family from aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Most importantly he leaves behind his legacy, the most important

part of him in which he will live through, his 6 children, which includes one unborn.

To Jordan, Jaliese, Julian, Jalani, Eric, and his unborn baby boy Jayce, daddy loved you all with all his heart. If ever you feel lonely and miss daddy, you just look up to the skies and know he is watching over you, guiding your every step and protecting you all. Each and every one of you have your guardian angel now everywhere life takes you day in and day out. Jordan and Jaliese, keep daddy’s memories alive and share them with your younger siblings so that they too know how much you each meant to him. Daddy would’ve given anything in this world to still be here with each one of you, but God had other plans which we may not understand right now. Always remember, you are each daddy’s babies and he will live on in your hearts.

Eric was a happy, outgoing, caring person, great personality, kind, and warm hearted. He was funny and had a priceless laugh and a contagious smile that would light up your soul. We will never forget it! Eric enjoyed trying new things and took life as it came, day by day. He had a passion for basketball, he loved the LA Lakers, favorite player Lebron James. Eric loved being around family and wanted

nothing more than for everyone to be together. He was full of life and wanted to enjoy every minute. We mourn his loss, but he will be remembered for all he had to offer this world. His memories will live on forever through everyone that loved him very much. Eric will remain in our hearts until the day God calls us all home to be by his side, but until then, watch over all of us, watch over your children, our Angel from above. Rip Eric, Rock the Heavens, We love you forever!

In loving memory of our Brother

You gave no one a last farewell,

   Nor ever said good-bye,

You were gone before we knew it,

   and only God knows why.

A million times we will miss you.

a million times we will cry.

If love alone could have saved you,

   You never would have died.

In life we loved you dearly.

In death we love you still.

In our hearts you hold a place,

   no one else can fill.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

   but you didn’t go alone,

for part of us went with you,

the day God took you home.

   We will meet again someday

I know in a better place.

I thank God He made you our brother

While you were here on Earth.

   Forever in our Hearts,

   We love you Eric
