Enid Gomez

Enid “Nani” Gomez, 36, of New Britain, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.  Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of Antonio Gomez and Maria Delgado Ortiz.

Surviving are a son, Ryan Parke; her two brothers, Antonio Gomez and his fiancé Ann “Carol” Nunez, David Rodriguez and his wife Emily; a sister Antonia Gomez; her foster parents, Mary Reyes Maldonado and Emilio Nieves; and several nieces and nephews.

Nani is known for her kind, gentle and big heart.  She spent most of her days hanging around with her cat Tiger, family and friends laughing and joking.  She was very fond of cooking and sharing her food with others.  She also loved feeding birds and squirrels.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5-7 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 6:30 PM 411 S. Main St., New Britain.  Burial will be private.
