OBITUARY: Emma Rose Maxim, of New Britain, died peacefully Thursday, January 31, 2002. She was the widow of Michael Maxim. Born in New Britain and a life long resident, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Manno. She was formerly employed at Irene's in New Britain. Emma was a member of St. Ann's Church. She was a loving and caring mother who affectionately cared for her children, grandchildren and family. Surviving are her two daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Ernest D'Agata, Rita and John Dagata; her sister, Josephine Granko; a sister-in- law, Anne Maxim; her grandchildren and spouses, Denise and Bill King, Sheri and Jeff Winakor, Michael and Nicholle Dagata, John Dagata Jr. and Joseph Dagata ; two great grandchildren, Julianna King and Alex Winakor, and several nieces and nephews. Emma was predeceased by her brother, Louis Manno, her sister, Catherine Camp, and her great grandson, William Brian King, Jr. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2002 at 9:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Ann's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
