Emma H. Jones

Emma H. Jones, 88, of New Britain, died Friday, Mar. 21, 2003 at New Britain General Hospital. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late George Jones Sr. and Caroline Sokolik Jones. She was a life-long New Britain resident and was formerly employed at American Hardware. Emma was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church. Surviving are a brother, George H. Jones of New Britain; two sisters, Jane Westergren of Bristol and Shirley Samuelson of New Britain; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn Carlson. Emma will be greatly missed by her family and by her many friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 3:30 PM at St. Matthews Lutheran Church. Calling hours are Sunday from 4-6 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S.
