Elsie A. Prills

Elsie A. Prills, 86, of New Britain, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Brittany Farms Healthcare Center. She was the widow of Edward Prills. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Julia Klein Stein. She was a life-long New Britain resident and was formerly employed at Sears, Roebuck and Co. Elsie was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a former member of the Altar Guild at church. Surviving are her daughter, Judith Bartley and her husband Cary of Southington; her son, Alan E. Prills and his wife Anne of Glastonbury; a sister, Helen Buden of New Britain; a brother, Albert Stein of Virginia; five grandchildren, Audra Bartley-St. Onge and her husband Marc, Eric Bartley, Jill Bartley-Ouellette and her husband Marc, Alana Prills Esq., Aaron Prills and his wife Melinda; and three great-grandchildren, Tyler St. Onge, Amber St. Onge, and Adelyn Ouellette. The family would like to thank the staff at Brittany Farms Healthcare Center for their compassionate and loving care given to Elsie. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday TODAY from 5-7:30 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
