Elsa Maria Rapacki

Elsa Maria Rapacki, 80, of New Britain, widow of Joseph Rapacki, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain.

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Geraldino Santiago Cedefio and Maria Gil Melendez.  Elsa was a long time New Britain resident and was formerly employed at the State of Connecticut Labor Department before retiring.

Surviving are two step-sons, Richard Rapacki of Willington and Joseph Rapacki Jr. of Minnesota; and a sister, Haydee in Puerto Rico.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023 from 6-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Entombment will be held on Thursday at 11 AM at St. Mary Cemetery.
