Elizabeth Peterson

Elizabeth Corbett Peterson, 78, of Westbrook, CT, wife of Robert A. Peterson, died on August 7, 2007 at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Ware, MA, she was the daughter of the late William and Caroline Gondek Corbett. She graduated from New Britain Senior High School in 1946. She made her home in Forestville and Newington before her move to Westbrook in 1976. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Westbrook. Besides her husband, she is survived by her son Eric and daughter-in-law, Pauline and grandchildren Christina and Jonathan of Bedford, NH. She was predeceased by her son Glenn Watt Peterson in 1975. A graveside service will be held in Fairview Cemetery New Britain, at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Middlesex Weiss Hospice Unit, Middlesex Hospital Office of Philanthropy, 28 Crescent St., Middletown, CT 06457. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, New Britain, is in charge of arrangements.
