Elizabeth Nieves Mann

Elizabeth Nieves-Mann, 43, of New Britain, beloved wife of Felton Mann, Sr., went to be with her Lord on Friday, Sept. 26, 2008 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a New Britain resident for the past 30 years. She was a member of the Spiritual Life Fellowship in Hartford and was active with the dance ministry at the church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Josue Santana of Southington, and Felton Mann Jr. of New Britain; her parents, Bertha Velez of New Jersey and Felipe Nieves of Florida; two sisters Iris Burton and her husband Kim of New Britain and Thelma Williams and her husband Ellsworth, Jr. of New Jersey; a brother, Felipe Nieves Jr. of Florida; her grandchildren, Kylee, Haley, and Joshua Santana; many nieces and nephews; and her spiritual daughter Denise Dawes. Funeral services will be held on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St. New Britain. Calling hours are Wednesday from 6-8 PM.
