Elizabeth ''Betty'' C. Olson

Elizabeth "Betty" Clark Olson of Covenant Village, Cromwell, a former Berlin resident, passed away on Feb. 27, 2005. She was born in New Britain, CT on Nov. 25, 1913 to Sheffield and Gertrude Monier Clarke. Betty was a beloved wife and mother and will be missed by her family and friends. She leaves behind her husband of 64 years, Harold P. Olson; a son, John Olson and his wife Helen of Colchester, VT; a daughter Judith Hall and her husband Allan, of Bedford, VA; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her sister-in-law, Virginia Perry of West Hartford and several nieces and nephews. Betty was an active member of the Berlin Congregational Church for many years and later transferred to the Kensington Congregational Church. She was an avid reader and was the Librarian of the Berlin Free Library for 26 years. There will be a memorial service at Covenant Village Chapel, Cromwell, on Saturday, March 5, at 2 p.m. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
