Eleuteria Burgos

Eleuteria Burgos Franqui Ledy, 76, of New Britain, who was born in Lares, PR, passed away surrounded by her family on August 25, 2007. She was predeceased by her husband, the late Gregorio Burgos, a grandson, David Burgos, six brothers, Lerio, Martin, Julian, Bernabe, Domingo, and Jorge. She is survived by her children, Ruben Marilou of Bristol, Elvia Hernandez Pedro of Corpus Christi, TX, Norma Benitez Antonio of New Britain, Clara Soto German of Avon Park, FL, Ramon Mayra of Meriden, Vidal Nilsa of New Britain, Davis Maria of Bristol, and Noemi Perry Charles of Glastonbury; a sister, Carmen of Puerto Rico; her brothers, Erasmo of Puerto Rico and Jose of Ocala, FL; twenty grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Eleuteria's love and faith for our Creator was instilled greatly on those surrounding her. She left a great legacy for many to follow. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 6-9 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain with a service to be held on Monday at 7:30 PM. A procession will leave the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:00 AM for burial in Fairview Cemetery.
