Eleanor M. Palmgren

Eleanor M. Palmgren, 71, of New Britain, widow of Gerald A. "Jerry" Palmgren Sr., passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Agnes (Sheehan) Grant. Eleanor was a life-long New Britain resident and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Surviving are her daughter, Cheryl Telke of New Britain; her grandson, Riley Telke; a sister, Mary Jane Nolan of Plainville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Eleanor was predeceased by her son, Gerald A. Palmgren Jr. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-7 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
